He encounters Poh Chomkin, whose father, Poh Kubitz, developed the controversial Funshimuso style, dismissed as foolish and never officially recognized. It is claimed that the style was so innovative that authorities discredited it to eliminate it. Poh Kubitz vanished after completing the style and has remained absent. Poh Chomkin, a gifted combatant, seeks to locate his father and revive the Funshimuso style. However, formidable and secretive forces are determined to prevent its resurgence.
