Qu Mo Lu

The story is a reimagining of the Journey to the West, portraying the main characters as demon slayers rather than pilgrims seeking sacred texts. Encounters with figures like the White Bone Spirit, Sea Spirit, Nine-Headed Beast, and the Hundred-Eyed Demon Lord are depicted as battles for justice rather than spiritual trials. The characters choose the path of demon slaying, as expressed by one character who tells the Buddha that their goals are incompatible.
