A 16-year-old girl named Nana is in a one-year relationship with a university student named Shugo. She is diagnosed with a condition that will cause her to lose her sight completely within six months. As her vision deteriorates, she keeps the diagnosis a secret from Shugo, fearing his pity. The story explores whether their relationship can endure this challenge. In another narrative, Yako returns to her grandparents' rural home for the summer, where she feels unwelcome due to her belief that they resent her. To ease her loneliness, she meets a boy named Hiroshi by the river. A third story follows a girl who receives a doll resembling her deceased best friend, created by the friend’s father after her tragic drowning. The girl begins to experience strange occurrences connected to the doll.
