Red: Saishuushou - Asama Sansou no 10-nichikan

An armed group known as the Red League, seeking revolution, was under police investigation. On February 19, 1972, the five remaining members took over Asama Sanso and took the caretaker hostage. The event, called the Asama Sanso Incident, caused widespread attention in Japan during the Showa period. Broadcasters including NHK achieved a record viewership rating of 89.7% with their live coverage of the siege.
