Rondo

A young man visits his mother's grave and leaves a blue rose, a flower traditionally associated with impossible love. As he kneels, he recalls a promise he made to her before she passed. The story shifts to his childhood, showing his relationship with his mother and a close friend who was like a sibling to him. After his mother's death, he becomes distant from his friend, who moves away. Years later, he returns to the town and seeks out his friend, now a woman, to fulfill the promise he once made.
