An eight-page, full-color manga created by Masami Kurumada served as a prologue to *Saint Seiya: Tenkai-hen Josou - Overture*, released in the fourth issue of Shueisha's *SUPER JUMP* magazine in 2004. This one-shot was produced to promote the theatrical release of the movie. It was later collected in the artbook *Masami Kurumada Illustrations ~ Sora*.
