Saiteihen no Otoko

Masahiko Murai is a high school student with a strong sense of smell, particularly drawn to unpleasant odors. He is content with avoiding the label of "biggest loser" in his class, as long as he isn't at the bottom of the social hierarchy. When the current "biggest loser" secures a girlfriend, Masahiko, fearing he will take that spot, fabricates a long-distance relationship with Haruka Mizusawa, a girl from his past. His classmates are doubtful until Haruka unexpectedly appears at school and supports his claim. Unbeknownst to them, Haruka died years ago, and the girl now present is an imposter. As the situation unfolds, Masahiko realizes that being the biggest loser may be the least of his worries.
