Sakamichi no Apollon

Nishimi Kaoru frequently changes schools due to his father's job and expects the usual isolation as a new transfer student. However, this time is different. He begins to connect with Mukae Ritsuko, the class president, and unexpectedly forms a bond with Kawabuchi Sentaro, known for his rebellious behavior. Despite their differences, all three share an interest in jazz music, leading Kaoru to appreciate his new environment. The manga includes eight additional chapters and received the 57th Shogakukan Manga Award in the general manga category.
