Sennen Mannen Ringo no Ko

Yukinojo moves to Aomori Prefecture in the 1970s after marrying into a family of apple growers, seeking independence from his previous life. Struggling to adjust to rural living and farm work, he inadvertently gives his wife, Asahi, a forbidden apple. This act causes alarm in the village, though the locals remain silent about its significance. Determined to uncover the truth behind the incident, Yukinojo takes action to resolve the situation, ultimately confronting an ancient deity to protect his wife. The manga includes three additional stories and an epilogue, and was honored with the New Face Award in the Manga Division of the 16th Japan Media Arts Festival.
