A girl named Mayuka Fujisawa lives alone after losing her parents in a car accident and has no friends or loved ones. One day, she discovers a man named Marshall, a demon who fell from the sky, collapsed in her yard. He is missing his red stone pendant and wings, so he reluctantly stays with her for shelter and meals while searching for his lost item. Mayuka enjoys his company and the companionship he provides, though she is aware of his desire to return to the sky.
