A twelve-year-old girl possesses the ability to foresee the future, which leads to her being kidnapped by corporations seeking to exploit her. Using her gift, she identifies a blind man navigating Tokyo as someone who can help her. Her choice proves correct when he reveals combat skills by defending her with a sword hidden in his cane. Knowing she will remain a target, she asks him to protect her permanently.
