Shihou Sekai no Ou

In an ancient city known as Babilim, a major trade hub around 1800 B.C., a teenage boy named Namuru goes to school and meets a new student named Shaz. He is drawn to her, and she later causes a disturbance by stealing from a merchant, leading to an encounter with street thugs. Shaz incapacitates their leader by removing his head without killing him, then explains to Namuru that both of them have 1/50th of the blood of Marduke, the city's God of War. This divine lineage grants them the ability to manipulate dimensions, allowing them to remove and transport objects, as demonstrated during the confrontation. Shaz reveals her intention to overthrow Babilim and destroy the kingdom, asking Namuru to assist her.
