Shiki

A quiet village in the 1990s experiences a series of unexplained deaths during an unusually hot summer. At the same time, a mysterious family settles in the long-vacant Kanemasa mansion. Toshio Ozaki, the head of the village's only hospital, first believes the deaths are due to an illness, but his suspicions shift toward the supernatural as the incidents escalate. Meanwhile, Natsuno Yuuki, a young man who dislikes the village, finds himself increasingly caught in the deadly events unfolding around him.
