In the summer of a quiet village of 1300 residents known as Sotoba, a string of unusual deaths starts to unfold. Concurrently, an enigmatic family settles into a long-neglected mansion in the area. Following a reported visit to this family, the stylish Shimizu Megumi disappears, prompting the entire village to search for her.
