Shokugeki no Souma

Yukihira Souma wants to become a professional chef and one day surpass his father's culinary abilities. After his father, Yukihira Jouichirou, closes their restaurant to pursue cooking in Europe, Souma faces a new challenge: surviving at a prestigious culinary school where only 10% of students graduate. Motivated by his father's challenge, he enters the school to prove his skills. The main narrative is supported by several side stories, including early character development in the pilot, romantic subplots, and additional character-focused chapters spread across multiple volumes.
