Toshihiko Tanaka and his friends Kenji and Kazuhiro enroll at Kakegawa High School to play soccer alongside their idol, Yoshiharu Kubo. Initially hesitant to play, Kenji and Kazuhiro are persuaded by Toshihiko to join the team. As they train and compete, the group works toward qualifying for the All-Japan High School Championship, facing various challenges in their journey.
