A high school girl named Mina survives a mass murder in daylight after receiving a heart transplant. As she begins to recover, she experiences a growing sense of murderous intent. The heart she received belonged to Shimizu Misako, the person responsible for the murders. Mina's parents are confused as they witness their daughter's transformation. The story explores the unraveling of a family as Mina's violent impulses persist.
