Ledo continues his life with his crew on the Gargantia fleet, working as part of the salvage team that collects remnants from Earth's past civilization. Reema, a former member of Cugel’s fleet, joins the group as a messenger under Amy’s instruction. Their meeting prompts Ledo to consider his previous military life and the contrast with his current existence. He remains aware of the challenges ahead and carries the connection to Chamber within him as he moves forward.
