Suna no Eikan

Nanashima's baseball team narrowly missed the nationals during his sophomore year. As a senior and team captain, he finds the team significantly weaker than before, with no experienced players and a lack of motivation. Mr. Toku, a longtime observer of the team's games, gives Nanashima one million yen, urging him to use it to help the team reach the nationals. The sudden responsibility of managing such a large, untraceable sum proves overwhelming, testing Nanashima's integrity and judgment.
