Tata no Mahou Tsukai

A witch arrives at a Japanese high school and fulfills the wishes students had written in their middle school graduation books. One wish to "escape" the world causes the entire grade to be transported to a fantasy setting. As they adjust to their altered realities, the students must navigate and survive in a harsh, unfamiliar world. The narrative is presented in a documentary style, covering the experiences of numerous students rather than focusing on one character. The work won the Grand Prize at the 24th Dengeki Novel Prize.
