A full-color manga created by Yoshitoshi ABe, the 18-page story is part of the Lain Omnipresence in Wired artbook. It is presented as the lost "Dc1029" file from the game and seems to exist within the same narrative universe. The story incorporates aspects also seen in the anime adaptation.
