On June 24, 1989, 21 individuals, including children, were discovered dead from poisoning at an elementary school in Otousu village, Hokkaido. Bungo Sano, a local police officer, was arrested and later sentenced to death. Twenty-eight years later, Shin Tamura, Sano’s son, begins to question his father’s guilt after Sano maintains his innocence. Shin travels to the crime scene, where thick fog envelops him, causing him to time travel back to 1989. The story unfolds as he confronts the events surrounding the crime in a suspenseful exploration of truth across time.
