Toumei na Yurikago: Sanfujinkain Kangoshi Minarai Nikki

A 17-year-old girl begins a part-time apprenticeship at a clinic specializing in obstetrics and gynecology during the summer of 1997. Her initial experience is jarring after witnessing an abortion procedure. She works alongside the clinic's director, who is meticulous, a seasoned nurse, and a compassionate head nurse, all of whom support patients through various procedures. Concerned about her daughter's lack of confidence and social skills, Aoi's mother watches as her daughter gradually earns the trust of patients through her natural empathy and warmth. As Aoi observes newborns and reflects on the meaning of life, she begins to grow and develop.
