Tsubame no Hasami

During the Taisho period in Tokyo’s Ginza, a young female hairdresser named Tsubame worked independently. At 16 years old, she demonstrated exceptional talent in her craft, offering stylish and refined haircuts to a range of clients, from playful local boys to members of struggling aristocratic families. The manga follows her development as she hones her skills and gains recognition. Created by new artist Mizuhoshi Matsumoto, the story highlights Tsubame’s journey as she establishes herself in a male-dominated profession.
