Ugetsu Monogatari
雨月物語
A man promises to bring his wife chrysanthemums, but she is later killed by a jealous lover. A traveler stays at a remote inn and encounters the ghost of a woman who died there. A group of people attempt to steal a magical cauldron that grants wishes, but they are punished for their greed. A woman is transformed into a serpent and becomes consumed by a desire for love and revenge.
