Utakata no Mujina

Kentaro Himoto was sent to live with his grandmother in the remote village of Mushinashichi during his second year of junior high after his parents discovered his attraction to men. The village has an unusual tradition: every year during the summer festival, 15-year-old children are brought together to determine if they will remain in the village or not. Himoto is required to take part in this ritual. The village is described as secretive, with customs that cannot be avoided, leaving the boys at the mercy of its traditions.
