Utawarerumono

A masked man with amnesia is discovered injured in a forest by a family consisting of two girls and their grandmother. They care for him until he recovers and he is integrated into their village. The man, later named Hakuoro, learns that the village is suffering under the rule of a greedy emperor. He leads a rebellion against the emperor, eventually becoming the ruler of a new country named Tusukuru, in honor of the woman who saved his life. As emperor, he faces ongoing challenges in maintaining peace and must engage in numerous battles to protect his people. Along the way, he is joined by warriors from other regions, forming a close-knit group. Despite hardships, the group remains united under his leadership.
