Charley is a cyborg vampire employed by the Vatican to carry out dangerous missions. He is bound to Johnny Rayflo, a local vampire known for his playful and hedonistic lifestyle. The two frequently clash while working together to combat criminal threats. Their partnership leads to chaotic and often sacrilegious situations. Charley struggles with his intense need for blood, which complicates his duties and relationships. The story follows their confrontations with a young vampire princess and a secretive faction of the Unitarian Church, as well as their own internal conflicts. A supplementary story, "ZOUL HALF," is included in Volume 2, originally published in Comic Blade Masamune in summer 2003.
