Masatsugu, a calligraphy teacher, had long harbored feelings for his student, Sumiya. As his emotions intensified, he began avoiding eye contact with her. Sumiya noticed his discomfort and confronted him, leading to a physical relationship between the two. Afterward, Sumiya stopped seeking out Masatsugu.
