A journalist named Souichi Kinoshita visits a Western-style confectionery owned by twin brothers to conduct an interview. During the conversation with one of the brothers, pâtissier Reizei Jin, the discussion falters as Jin appears unable to respond adequately, leading to an uncomfortable pause. The other twin, Ai, then shares details about Jin's history. The story includes two additional chapters.
