A student named Tong Yang is suspended for fighting on the first day of school and is avoided by others upon returning. A high-achieving student named Xiao Zhen encounters Tong Yang alone and crying. Tong Yang attempts to appear tough but ends up being attacked. Despite this, Xiao Zhen starts helping Tong Yang with schoolwork after class. Tong Yang later learns that the brother Xiao Zhen had fought was himself.
