A mangaka experiences love at first sight with his new assistant editor, prompting his assistant—once a classmate of the editor—to attempt matchmaking. Meanwhile, a man in a transactional relationship with a younger, wealthy office worker struggles to maintain the arrangement as feelings complicate the dynamic. In another storyline, a homosexual college student working at a convenience store develops feelings for a heterosexual coworker, a high school graduate with gambling habits. As the coworker begins dating someone else, a heavyset employee with a steady girlfriend tries to help bring the student and coworker together.
