Zashisu

A junior high school teacher named Yamauchi Kai becomes aware of a murder case after watching the news, recognizing the victim as a former classmate, Suzuki Yumi. Later, his girlfriend, Tamao Yagisawa, discovers a rejected novel whose plot mirrors the crime. The author listed on the manuscript is Haruto Saeki. Shortly after, Yamauchi receives an invitation to a class reunion from an old acquaintance, echoing events described in the novel.
