Zoku Kooritsuita Me

A journalist named Atsuko Shiina wrote a book in 1994 about child abuse titled *Oya ni Naruhodo Muzukashii Koto wa Nai*. Sasaya later adapted this book into a manga titled *Kooritsuita Me*, which was published in the magazine *You* in 1996. The manga is recognized for contributing to the passage of new child abuse laws in Japan on May 24, 2000. It also won the Avon Educational Award in 2004.
