After Hinata's class returns from the trip, the homeroom teacher has become the new target of bullying from Takagi and friends. She is overcome with anxiety, which soon leads to her hospitalization. Kokubu, the school's head teacher, takes her place. He decides to have parent-teacher-student conferences with Hinata and Takagi along with their families, taking the first steps to solving the problem. Hearing about the situation from Hinata, Akari convinces Grandpa not to abandon his work to attend the meeting, but to let her go with Hinata instead.
