Ep. 1: Yuuko y Kyouko llegan a la ciudad de Daikoku y se encuentran con una forma de cibervida ilegal.

Yuuko Okonagi, her little sister Kyouko, and her cyberpet Densuke arrive in Daikoku City, where their family has just moved. Her mother is supposed to pick them up at the train station but is too busy, so Yuuko and Kyouko have to walk. Along the way they encounter an "illegal", a form of cyberlife that lives in unmaintained cyberspace. Yuuko loses track of Kyouko and Densuke when they chase the illegal. While looking for them, she picks up a cyberpet cat. She is then confronted by Fumie Hashimoto and Daichi Sawaguchi, who are both looking for the cat to claim a reward. Fumie takes the cat and gives her a metabug, illicit code that serves as the underground currency. Yuuko encounters the illegal again as it tries to escape to a corrupted space, and thinks it is trying to attack her. Densuke arrives to protect her, then chases the illegal into the old e-space. Fumie helps retrieve Densuke, but as she does so, a Q-chan cybersecurity patrol arrives and begins to reformat the space. Fumie successfully rescues Densuke, but the girls are chased by Q-chans, and then by a Searchmaton.
