en years ago, Yukidarumon found an abandoned human baby, Ikuto, and took him as her son. An expedition led by Dr. Suguru Daimon embarked into the Digital World to search for the lost baby but found itself threatened by wild Digimon. After a brief feud, Merukimon realized that Suguru was an honest man and they made a promise that both races would cooperate with each other in the future. However, Kurata became consumed with hatred for Digimon, deeming them all evil due to the attack. Merukimon recalls and denounces him as the man responsible for the deaths of Yukidarumon and many other Digimon. (Source: Wikipedia)
