A track star briefly breaks free from a simulated world before being forgotten in a nursing home. A woman searching for her pet encounters a glitch in a Tokyo "haunted house." A detective is hired to track down the hacker Trinity. Scientists imprison a robot in a fantasy world, and after most are killed, the robot and one scientist remain isolated in the simulation.
