Deltora Quest

A dark ruler known as the Shadow Lord has seized control of Deltora, causing widespread hardship for its people. Lief, a sixteen-year-old blacksmith's son, is given a crucial task with his friends Barda and Jasmine: to recover the seven magical stones that, when united in the Belt of Deltora, will empower the rightful heir to challenge the Shadow Lord. The stones are now in the possession of seven malevolent individuals who are unlikely to surrender them without a struggle.
