A new group of children is called upon to aid the Digital World after an antagonist named the Digimon Kaiser subjugates its Digimon. These children partner with Digimon to confront the ruler's oppressive control. Their mission is to prevent further domination and restore balance. Each child and their Digimon work together to challenge the Kaiser's growing influence. The conflict centers on stopping his efforts to enslave the Digital World's inhabitants.
