Sajou is a top student who excelled on his high school entrance exams, while Kusakabe is a musician in a band that performs at live events and is well-liked by female students. The two boys have no prior connection, but Kusakabe offers to help Sajou prepare for an upcoming chorus festival, leading to conversations and after-school meetings. Through music and shared time, they develop a close bond and eventually realize they are in love. Kusakabe's straightforward and emotional nature contrasts with Sajou's initial hesitation, though he eventually becomes more open.
