Chiharu works in the magic department's counter-measure division and often visits a bar where he meets Toyohi, a straightforward young man. The two quickly become close, and Toyohi unexpectedly confesses his feelings to Chiharu during their walk home. Initially surprised, Chiharu gradually grows comfortable with Toyohi and they start spending more time together. After a professional error, Chiharu chooses to focus on his responsibilities and distances himself from Toyohi.
