Kuro ga Ita Natsu

In 1945, during a difficult summer in Japan, a young girl named Nobuko rescues a small cat from crows. Despite the family's struggle with food shortages, Nobuko convinces her parents to let the cat stay. She gives it the name Kuro. The cat brings joy to the household. As the war escalates, the situation grows increasingly dire.
