Oam Monogatari: Sono Natsu, Watashi ga Shitta koto

This anime serves as a promotional piece for Ogaki City in Gifu Prefecture and is adapted from a book detailing a woman's coming-of-age during the Sengoku Era. The main character, Oam, is the daughter of Yamada Kyoreki, a vassal to Ishida Mitsunari. The series provides a rare historical perspective on the life of a noblewoman during the period. The narrative alternates between past and present, depicting Oam's experiences at Ogaki Castle, later the site of the Battle of Sekigahara, and her escape with her mother under cover of darkness.
