In a future Japan where children are scarce and highly valued, Christmas is no longer celebrated and Santa Claus is considered a myth by students at Daikoku Welfare Academy. This boarding school ensures the safety and education of its students under constant supervision. Meanwhile, Santa is seen as a real threat by authorities who actively seek to eliminate him. Shiori Fuyumura, a student at the academy, is searching for her missing friend Ichie Ono, who has been presumed dead after six months. One day, Fuyumura confronts Kazushige Sanda, her classmate and fellow representative, believing him to be the descendant of Santa Claus. She attacks him, convinced that awakening his hidden identity is the only way to locate Ono.
