Goro notices Ryo's message and immediately notifies Mai. They run to the harbor and Mai attempts to drive a forklift, but Mark stops them. After being notified on the situation, Mark states he will drive. All three ride the forklift into the warehouse and manage to trap the guards with the forks and rescue Nozomi. Back outside the harbor, Ryo and Guizhang are shown again in a brief scuffle before tumbling to the ground. Just as the Mad Angels declare their territory of the harbor, the two get up and surprise the gang after they discover Nozomi's been rescued. It is revealed that Ryo silently informed Guizhang during the fight and the two the scuffled out until confirmation of Nozomi's hopeful rescue. Terry summons a majority of his gang to attack them, but they are all beaten one by one. Choosing to abstain as Nozomi is now in safe hands, Ryo lets Guizhang fight and defeat Terry, who then goes on to warn Ryo that following Lan Di to Hong Kong is a foolish mission. Afterward, Guizhang asks Ryo if he plans to continue on with his endeavor, with Ryo responding that he'll find a way to Hong Kong. In his personal response, Guizhang claims he'll try and arrange a departure plan with Master Chen, or rather his father. Ryo proceeds to thank Guizhang. Days later, Ryo formally quits his harbor job and says goodbye to Mark. At home, Ryo also bids farewell to Ine and Fuku. At Sakura Park, Nozomi meets with Ryo and gives him a good luck charm as they bid their goodbyes. At the port for his departure, Ryo is met by Master Chen, who informs Ryo that Guizhang would be accompanying him to Hong Kong. Suddenly, the group is once again attacked by Chai, who manages to fracture Guizhang's leg with metal pipes before being knocked into the water by Ryo. Despite the injury, Guizhang insists on coming along, but Ryo dissuades him, noting it'd be better if he stayed with his father.
