A continuation of an existing series, this season centers on mysterious activities in Academy City involving an organization that clones students with supernatural abilities. A top-tier esper specializing in electricity initially dismisses rumors about these clones until she encounters one who is identical to her. Upon discovering that these duplicates, referred to as her sisters, are being killed in experiments aimed at creating the most powerful esper ever, she resolves to rescue them and dismantle the organization. As she confronts the organization's leader, a ruthless esper driven by ambition, she learns she is not the only one affected by the city's secret experiments. This revelation prompts her and her allies in Judgement to take action.
