Four students—Takano Kyohei, Oda Takenaga, Toyama Yukinojo, and Morii Ranmaru—agree to rent a house in exchange for attending school for free, under the condition that they help transform the girl living there into a proper lady. The girl, Nakahara Sunako, is reclusive, unsettling, and obsessed with horror films. She suffers from a deep emotional wound caused by a boy who told her she was unattractive during junior high.
