A middle school student named Shizuku Ishiai enjoys dancing but struggles to express herself openly. To share her passion, she crossdresses and uploads dance videos online under the name "Ai." She competes with a dancer known as Hayate, whom she considers the "dancing prince." After several unexpected incidents and her efforts to outperform him, she ends up joining an idol group with him, which turns out to be male-only.
