Gokusen

A recent college graduate named Kumiko Yamaguchi begins teaching math at a high school for boys. She is placed in charge of class 3-D, a group known for their delinquent behavior. The students try to sabotage her teaching, but she earns their respect through determination and a strong-willed approach. Unbeknownst to others at the school, she is the heir to the Kuroda Ikka, a major yakuza family in Tokyo.
